This was my first husband, and father of our four children, Shedrick "Ted" Fletcher, taken in Japan in 1944.
In Loving memory of Shedrick Fletcher 1918---1981
In the Fall of 1918 a man was born who began an incredible journey. Shedrick (Ted) Fletcher was born November 16th 1918 to Fred & Burnie (Bailey) Fletcher, in Magoffin
County, Kentucky, and left this world on April 2nd 1981 to go to his heavenly home at the age of 62. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He spent his life in service to the Lord, trying to bring the
light of Christ into the hearts of his friends and people he would meet. No truer words was ever spoken then when he was blessed by the spirit of the LORD. On April 20th 1946 I had the honor to marry this wonderful
man, he was a devoted husband through out his days. To this union was born 4 children, Linda Mae, Michael Thomas, Martha Kay, one daughter, Karen Sue preceded him in death. Even though his journey is done, we will
all continue to follow the path he set forth. He is dearly missed by all that knew him. He has guided many to the LORD in the path he has now taken. If we all live by the words he often said--Love One Another--the
world would be a greater place. It broke our heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone, For a part of us went with you, the day God took you home. We love you!
Sadly Missed By All of Your Family, Mae (Bailey) Van Artsdalen
